Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has removed Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza from his role as Commissioner for Information.
Although no official reason has been provided for the decision, sources suggest that it may be tied to multiple complaints of alleged incompetence.

Dr. Fred Latimor Oghenesivbe, the Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communication, confirmed that Osuoza had been informed of the development.
To ensure continuity, Governor Oborevwori has appointed Charles Aniagwu, the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads), to temporarily oversee the Ministry of Information. Aniagwu, a seasoned media expert, previously served as Chief Press Secretary and Commissioner for Information under former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration.
