Iran air defense intercepts Israeli airstrikes on military centers (Video)
The Iranian air defense command reported successful interceptions of Israeli airstrikes targeting military centers in Tehran, Ilam, and Khuzestan provinces.
In a statement released Saturday, the public relations office of the air defense command confirmed that these strikes were part of Israel’s escalating military actions and resulted in limited damage.
The statement emphasized that despite Iran’s warnings about Israel’s aggressive behavior, the airstrikes occurred nonetheless. It urged the public to remain calm, demonstrate solidarity, and rely solely on information from state media, advising citizens to disregard rumors from enemy outlets.

Earlier reports indicated that Iran’s air defense systems were activated in response to the Israeli attacks, successfully neutralising the threats. An air defense force official stated that the situation is still under investigation.
Sounds resembling explosions were reported around 02:15 local time (10:45 GMT) in various parts of Iran, particularly to the west of the capital. Approximately two and a half hours later, Iran’s anti-missile systems were reactivated in eastern and central regions due to further Israeli strikes.
