Islamic Banking and Finance Hub congratulate the president-elect, expressed confidence in their administration
The Alumni Association of the International Institute of Islamic banking and finance, Bayero University, Kano, has congratulated the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his Vice President-Elect, Alh. Kashim Shettima.
In a letter to the newly elected duo, addressed to them at the Defence House, Maitama District, which was also released to the press, the National President, Malam Ahmad Suleiman Gimba, expressed confidence in them, especially during this period of economic downturn.
In his w,ords as quoted “Your election was a vote of confidence by Nigerians, and we, therefore pray for your success, and indeed a peaceful reign and economic flourish in the country throughout your tenure”.
He further added that “the herculean task ahead will be made easy, through the wishes of Almighty Allah”.
The letter was assuring and encouraging to the newly elected, marking them as trustees to Nigerians.
The two newly elected leaders are members of the Nigerian financial industry, therefore they are seen as experts who portray a round peg in a round hole taking into cognizance that Nigeria is ahead of many countries in world finance.
The Islamic banking and finance industry is growing very fast internationally, and Nigeria is not left out.
