Jakusko quits APC, blasts party over neglect, broken promises
In a surprising political development, Alhaji Mohammed Jakusko, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State, has announced his resignation from the party. Jakusko cited a lack of recognition and support as the primary reasons for his decision.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, Jakusko expressed his disappointment over the treatment he received within the party, particularly his inability to secure the backing of party leaders for his political aspirations.
“I have been a loyal member of the APC for years, contributing my quota to its growth and success. However, the lack of recognition and support has made it impossible for me to achieve my goals or serve my people effectively,” Jakusko stated.
He highlighted instances where he felt sidelined in decision-making processes and overlooked for key opportunities, despite his dedication and efforts to promote the party’s interests in his constituency.
