Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to handle our English and Hausa social media platforms for Neptune Prime. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our presence on various social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Telegram. Proficiency in both Hausa and English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across all platforms.
- Content Creation: Create and curate engaging and culturally relevant content in both English and Hausa to share on social media.
- Platform Management: Manage and maintain active and consistent posting on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Telegram channels.
- Audience Engagement: Interact with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and build meaningful relationships with followers.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to improve strategy.
- Trend Identification: Stay updated on social media trends and cultural developments in the North East region to ensure content relevance.
- Multimedia Content: Share multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and images, to enhance engagement.
- Crisis Management: Handle any issues or crises that may arise on social media platforms with professionalism and tact.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in both English and Hausa languages is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills for remote work.
- Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
