Just like Gov. Oborevwori, 6 Delta House of Reps members decamp to APC
Six members of the Delta State House of Representatives have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This comes just few weeks after Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and some other members of the PDP defected to the APC.
The latest defection was announced by the Speaker of the House, Abbas Tajuddeen at the resumed plenary on Tuesday.

The six members who defected from the PDP to the APC are Rep.Victor Nwokolo, Rep. Julius Pondi, Rep. Thomas Ereyitomi, Rep. Nicholas Mutu, Rep.Okodiko Jonathan and Rep. Nnamdi Ezechi.
In a related development, two members of the Labour Party from Enugu State have defected to the opposition PDP, they are Mark Obetta and Dennis Nnamdi.
The Speaker quoted the lawmakers as saying they defected as a result of intractable crisis rocking their parties in their respective states and at the national level.
The House of Representatives has seen gale of defections mostly from the opposition parties to the ruling APC in recent times.
