Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano

Adamu Isah Gwanja professionally known as Ado Gwanja, a celebrated figure in the Northern film industry (Kannywood), shines brightly as an actor, comedian, singer, and filmmaker.

Recently, his heart has been graced with love for the second time since 2018, leading him to a momentous and joyous matrimony in the enchanting city of Kano.

The joyful news surfaced when a wedding invitation found its way onto Instagram, thoughtfully shared by fellow singer Nazifi Asnanic.

The enchanting wedding Fatiha unfolded inside the grandeur of Jumuat Mosque, nestled within the esteemed Yusuf Maitama Sule University, on Friday, the 21st of July 2023.

Notably, Ado Gwanja had previously exchanged vows with one Maimunatu Hassan back in October 2018, and their union blessed them with a precious daughter. However, the paths of life took them on separate journeys, leading to the closure of that chapter.

A true icon in the Hausa movie industry, Ado Gwanja’s charisma has graced the silver screens in over a hundred (100) captivating movies.

His soulful melodies have lent an enchanting aura to numerous Hausa films, while his performances at political events, weddings, birthday celebrations, and various other gatherings have garnered admiration far and wide.
