Kano State Hisbah invite Kannywood’s Nafisa Ishaq for insulting Sheik Ibrahim Aminu Daurawa
Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano
Kano State Hisbah, an Islamic police organisation set up to enforce moral discipline in the state, has invited one Kannywood actress, Nafisa Ishaq, to appear at their Sharada Head Office in Kano for questioning.
Recently the respected Islamic Ulama’a, Sheik Ibrahim Aminu Daurawa in one of his sermons made a series of comments which Nafisa who has little Islamic knowledge took it up and insulted Daurawa beyond explanation.
The Ulama’a in his sermon spoke about the importance of women and family life, where he was quoted as saying that the dirtiest part of a woman is her private part. There is nothing special about a woman’s private part, no matter her beauty, because her private part, is through which she urinates, delivers children, accompanied with dirty issues and as such there is nothing special about a woman.
But in a swift response, Nafisa Ishaq insulted Sheik Daurawa who was the longest-serving Commander General of Kano State Hisbah, before he resigned, that Daurawa should shut up his mouth because his comments on women’s part are not proper, as he is castigating the very rough path through which he came to this world. Nafisa alleged that Daurawa should reconsider re-taking his position on women.
This did not go down well with Kano State Hisbah and they have decided to invite her for questioning, especially considering the fact that Daurawa is not only a respected Islamic Ulama’a in Nigeria, but he is also a respected person in and outside the country.

  1. THE INVITATION IS UNNECESSARY. WHAT MALLAM DAURAWA SAID WAS DIRTY AND UNFORTUNATE AND THE LADY HAS RIGHT TO OPPOSE IT. WE ARE A DEMOCRACY IN NIGERIA NOT THEOCRACY
