‘King of Satan’ who married 59 wives, had 300 children, buried with car in Enugu

A Nigerian man, Simon Odo, popularly known as ‘King of Satan’ who married 59 wives and had over 300 children and grandchildren, has died and was buried with a flashy car.

The late ‘King of Satan’, who hailed from Aji in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, died in the early hours of Tuesday after a brief illness and was buried on Wednesday.

One of his sons, Emeka Odo, who confirmed his death journalists, said he died at the age of 74.

Mr Emeka said the burial of his late father took place almost immediately, in compliance with his father’s instruction to the wives and children that his remains should not be deposited in the mortuary when confirmed dead, but should be buried as soon as possible.

“Yes, my father, popularly known as the ‘King of Satan’, is dead. He died on Tuesday morning as he had been sick for the past three weeks.

A video obtained from YouTube revealed that he was buried with a car and his favourite song playing.

Some of his children said the burial in the vehicle signified his smooth transit into his next world.

Mr Emeka described his late father as loving and caring and said his death was a big blow to the family while a few relatives said Mr Odo was a good man who shunned evil in his dealings with people.
