Lady in Imo poisons self, ex-boyfriend, a week to his wedding

Akuma Felix Emeka, a 34-year-old groom, has allegedly been poisoned by his ex-girlfriend just a week to his wedding ceremony in Owerri, Imo State.

Emeka, who was invited for a drink by his ex-girlfriend on Saturday, April 3, 2021, went to meet her with an open mind, unknown to him that she had poisoned their drinks, killing them both.

The duo was later found dead in his car with what was left of the drink.

Emeka, a graduate of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, was scheduled to get married on Sunday, April 11.

The details of what transpired between the former lovers is unclear.
