Leaving is not always the answer, by Ali Sanni

Sometimes you need to stay where you are and focus on improving yourself to a better person than moving to another city, or country because your brother, sister or friend is making it over there.

He or she is making it there doesn’t mean you will also make it there, this is the common mistake many of us do by saying “Dayo is doing well in the UK, Chioma is making money in China, Usman is living a luxurious life in Saudi Arabia”.

Or in the domestic scene, “I want to serve in Abuja, or Lagos so that I will have connections and make money. We have forgotten that God is the connection and with our hard work and total submission to His will, unexpected progress will occur in our lives with time.

But we want to work faster than our shadows, please we need to calm down and always make critical thinking and analysis before making decisions.

I am not saying changing environment is not a good thing but please before making such move, compare and contrast critically and judge yourself honestly.

May God Almighty continue to guide and protect us Ameen.
