Man collapses, dies while breaking Ramadan fast
A man has tragically died while observing the ongoing Ramadan fasting.
The deceased, identified as Abdulrasheed Usman, was said to be breaking his fast with his friends when the tragedy happened.
Confirming the incident, a witness identified as Suleiman Bala said the incident happened in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday, March 1.

He added that the deceased was eating fruit with three of his friends when he fell down suddenly.
He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead by officials on duty.
“One of his brothers said the deceased returned from Kaduna and went to join his friends where they normally relaxed. And when the Magrib prayer was called, he joined them to break the fast and it was in the process that the incident happened,’’ the witness said.
