Maryam Bagudo unleashes economic marvel at inaugural Suleja Business Expo

Story from Fatima Adamu, Suleja.

Maryam Bagudo, a trailblazing entrepreneur, showcased her intelligence and hardworking spirit by single-handedly orchestrating the collaboration of 60 diverse vendors from around Suleja. Her vision was clear: to redefine the narrative of local businesses, foster networking, and propel small enterprises to new heights.

The event received robust support from the state’s government, with Governor Umar Bagu actively endorsing and contributing to the success of the Suleja Business Expo. The chairman of the local government, Hon. Isyaku Bawa Nai’bi (IBN) and the member of the House of Representatives, representing Suleja, Gurara and Tafa, Hon. Adamu Tanko (ATL) also extended their official endorsements, emphasizing the significance of such initiatives in fostering local economic growth.

What made this expo truly exceptional was the amalgamation of support from Maryam’s family, enthusiastic youths, and dedicated vendors. It was a collaborative effort that culminated in a transformative experience for the community.

The bustling atmosphere at the expo was palpable, with vendors experiencing unprecedented sales. From food vendors to sellers of clothes and kitchen utensils, every booth witnessed a surge in demand, leaving many vendors pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response.

As the day concluded, Governor Umar Bagu, recognizing the hard work and dedication of the vendors, presented through the organisers a token of appreciation to each participant. This unexpected gesture served as a powerful motivator and added to the overall positive energy of the event.
