Mother of  famous hausa singer, Rarara, abducted

Hajiya Halima Adamu, mother of the renowned Hausa Singer Dauda Adamu, popularly known as Rarara, has been abducted from her residence in Kahutu village, Danja local government area of Katsina State. According to reports, the abduction took place around 1am on Friday.

Sources from Kahutu village confirmed that armed bandits entered quietly and swiftly abducted the elderly woman. Despite encountering others at the residence, the bandits singled out Hajiya Halima Adamu without resistance from her or others present.

Residents expressed deep concern for her safety, noting her significant contributions to the community and the generosity of her son, Rarara, who has supported numerous developmental projects in the village.

Efforts to contact Rarara for comment were unsuccessful as calls to his phones went unanswered. Katsina State, located in the North West region of Nigeria, has been grappling with heightened insecurity in recent times.

The community remains hopeful for Hajiya Halima Adamu’s safe return amid ongoing prayers and concerns over the security situation in the area.
