NBA orders probe into Uyo lawyer’s assault on wife in viral video
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has initiated an investigation into a disturbing video that has gone viral, showing a lawyer assaulting his wife in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
According to a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Akorede Habeeb Lawal, the perpetrator of the heinous act has been identified as Ekere S. Ebong.
The NBA President, Yakubu Maikyau, has instructed the Uyo branch of the association to investigate the matter in order to establish a case of professional misconduct against Ebong.
