Story from Dahiru SULEIMAN, Dutse
A new political party, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has been launched in Jigawa State with a conviction by its Executives to usher in a vibrant political base that will bring transparency, fairness, good governance, equity and social justice.
Addressing a press conference in Dutse, the party’s Chairman, Honourable Gambo Ibrahim Alawo said the NNPP was a party for all well-meaning Nigerians who believe in politics of ideology, transparency, and good governance.
Also, our party welcomes all patriotic Nigerians who are ready to offer a selfless service whom we shall close ranks regardless of race, tribal, religious, nor political affiliations only for the progress and development of our great nation.
“A party to entrench a formidable political structure with a vision to entrench politics of vigour, principle and ideology with an articulated blueprint which will usher security stability, economic growth and development, addressing the issues of unemployment and poverty in the overall interest of Nigerians”.
“Our gathering to address you today was in fulfilment of our caucus meeting resolve which mandated us to bring to public notice that we have started with a brighter future by receiving over 3,000 decamped members of different political parties, he said.
“We welcome our decamped members and assure others that our doors are always open to receive more supporters of the progress so that together we would join hands in rebuilding our nation.
Honourable Gambo further stated that the formation of the NNPP was informed to serve as a catalyst to resuscitate the country’s political injury mated by the ruling party’s failed vision and mission in the last seven years of its leadership.
The NNPP assured Nigerians that it has worked out its strategies and concerted programs properly in addressing most of the country’s political blunders for a better Nigeria.
