Abducted ECWA BOT chairman, Rev. Agang, released safely
Rev. Agang, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), has regained his freedom following a recent abduction that sparked nationwide concern.
The cleric was reportedly kidnapped last week near his residence in Kaduna State by unknown gunmen, prompting immediate responses from security agencies and appeals from religious leaders across the country.
Authorities have confirmed that Rev. Agang was released unharmed, although details surrounding the circumstances of his release, including whether a ransom was paid, have not been disclosed. Investigations into the perpetrators are ongoing, with the police vowing to bring those responsible to justice.
