Man arrested for posing as woman to visit girlfriend in her father’s house
A young man, Kamaludden Abbas, has reportedly been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Yobe State for allegedly disguising himself as a woman to secretly visit his girlfriend at her father’s house.
According to reports, Abbas dressed as a woman to gain access to the house, pretending to be the young woman’s female friend.
The arrangement reportedly continued for some time, as the girl’s father initially believed Abbas was simply one of his daughter’s friends visiting the house.
The girl’s father later began to suspect something unusual after observing strange behaviour whenever the supposed female visitor was alone with his daughter.
He reportedly noticed that whenever they were in the room together, there was an unusual silence, occasionally interrupted by movements from inside the room.
This pattern of behaviour gradually raised concerns and suspicion.
Worried about what might be happening, the father forced his way into the room to confirm his suspicions.
After discovering the situation, he immediately reported the matter to security authorities.
Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) quickly responded and arrested Abbas at the scene.
Sources say the suspect is currently facing possible charges related to sexual misconduct and public indecency.
As of the time of filing this report, the NSCDC has not issued an official statement, but investigations are believed to be ongoing.
Authorities are expected to release more details as the case progresses.
