PDP crisis: G5’ll soon decide on preferred presidential candidate – Wike
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State said his political allies in the G5 will soon conclude talks on the preferred presidential candidate to support in the February 25 election.
Wike disclosed this during a rally of the Rivers state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state.
According to Wike, the people of the state know their political bearings and will not play second fiddle concerning the general election slated for February 25 and March 11 2023.
“Now it’s one man, one vote, he remarked. From the governorship through the House of Assembly, all of the votes must be in one basket. On the other, we’re coming to an end. You will be informed when we conclude,” he assured the crowd of party members present.
No one should ever intimidate you. Nobody should tell you any tales. In this nation, we were born free. We are not inferior people. We have no one to turn to for information. They’re on their last chance, I say. We’ll tell them we’re from Rivers State if they do anything funny.
The 2023 elections, according to Wike, are a fight to the finish, and we are prepared for it.
