PDP NWC members rally behind Gov. Fubara amidst party crisis
Members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) met with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara behind closed doors in Port Harcourt.
The meeting, led by PDP National Treasurer Ahmed Yayari Mohammed, aimed to address the ongoing crisis in the state.
The delegation also visited other key PDP stakeholders, including Governors Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Douye Diri (Bayelsa), and Seyi Makinde (Oyo).
In a statement, Mohammed reaffirmed the PDP’s commitment to respecting the rule of law, accepting the Appeal Court’s judgment recognizing Udeh Okoye as the PDP National Secretary, and acknowledging the Rivers State High Court’s decision to set aside party congresses at various levels .

This development signals a significant step towards resolving the crisis in Rivers State and strengthening the PDP’s position.
