Police arrest pastor for alleged homosexuality
A clergyman has been arrested by police operatives for alleged homosexuality in Rivers State.
According to reports, the pastor, the General Overseer of a new generation church in Eagle Island, Port Harcourt, simply identified as Elijah got in trouble, after a nude video of him was leaked.
It was gathered that the pastor had made advances at a man, and in order to get evidence against him, the man played along, and recorded him while romancing him and demanding sex.
Confirming the incident to PUNCH, a source who pleaded anonymity said;

“We don’t know how the Octopus Strike Force of the Rivers State got the video and started trailing the pastor. The pastor is from Rivers State here.
“So, during the investigation, the officers acting on credible intelligence trailed the cleric to one of his relaxation spots and arrested him.”
The General Overseer is currently in the police custody, and is helping the police with useful information, including his sexual escapades with minors.
Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the Rivers state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko said the General Overseer was arrested last Friday, and the case has been transferred to court.
She said, “Yes, I can confirm the pastor’s arrest. He is in custody and under investigation. In fact, he has been charged to court.”
