Police  vow  to  apprehend  killers  of Imo  traditional  ruler

The  Imo  State  Police  Command  has declared  its  determination  to  arrest the  perpetrators  behind  the  abduction and  murder  of  the  traditional  ruler  of Otulu  Amumara,  Eze  Joe-Benz  Ochulor, which  occurred  last  Saturday  in Ezinihitte  Mbaise  Council  Area.

Speaking  to  journalists  in  Owerri, the State  Police  Public  Relations  Officer, PPRO,  Henry  Okoye, affirmed  the commitment  of  the  Command  to  bring the  killers  of  the  monarch to  justice to prevent  further  attacks  on  traditional rulers  in  the  state.

According  to  the  Police, “Commissioner of  Police,  Imo  State  Command,  CP Aboki  Danjuma,  has  strongly condemned  the  gruesome  murder  of HRH Eze J B Ochulor  and  has  vowed that  attacks  on  Traditional  Rulers  will not be  tolerated  in the  state. The Command  has  set nup a  high-powered investigating  team  to  track  down  the assailants  and  bring  them  to  face  the full  wrath  of  the  law.”

The  Commissioner  has  urged  the public  to  cooperate  with  the  Police by providing  any  helpfulb information  that  may  lead  to the  arrest of the  suspects.
