Popular Nigerian blogger, Kemi Olunloyo declares herself ‘Nigerian Journalist Of The Year’

Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has declared herself “Nigerian journalist of the year”.

The journalist and social activist who highlighted the various stories she successfully worked on in the course of the year and declared herself as the journalist of the year on her Instagram page.

According to Kemi Olunloyo, it has been an overwhelming year, but she was able to successfully break some top stories, ranging from Abba Kyari, Mompha, to Hushpuppi.

Sharing a graphic of the award design, she wrote,

“JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR @Kemiolunloyo From breaking news to investigating stories. It’s been a very overwhelming year. #ijcovid19 #ijlekkimassacre #ijcoza #dbanj, Abba Kyari, HushPuppi, Kiki Mordi BBC controversy, Kobe Bryant, Mompha and many stories I worked on. Thank you for the memories. I may be back in journalism for #Nigeriadecides 2023.
