Reactions as DSS operative Adedokun, jumps into Lagos lagoon

There have been reactions on social media following the report of a 30-year-old Adetutu Adedokun, an operative of the Department of State Services (DSS) who jumped into the Lagos lagoon on Thursday from the Third Mainland Bridge.

Neptune Prime reports that the lady alighted from an Uber car before plunging into the lagoon.

According to the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident in a situation report, the cab driver claimed the woman was having a heated conversation with her fiance before alighting from the vehicle.

Adedokun has reportedly been rescued by authorities, according to Instablog9ja which is yet to be confirmed by LASEMA at time of this report.

According to some social media reactions, Adedokun four months ago got commendation from the Director-General of the DSS as the best unarmed combat operative of her set. She was an Unarmed Combat (UAC) instructor.

Her action is coming weeks after she was proposed to by her boyfriend at a public gathering. Her boyfriend is based in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Adedokun who joined the DSS about three ago followed her parents’ footsteps who joined the department before they retired, a social media user claimed.
