Sanwo-Olu cancels Lagos remote work from April 1

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced the cancellation of the work-from-home initiative, which was implemented by his administration.

Starting April 1, 2025, all public servants are required to return to their offices instead of working remotely.

The Head of Service, Bode Agoro, issued the announcement on Tuesday, stating that the decision follows the implementation of the New Minimum Wage and other measures to improve the welfare of public servants in Lagos. The initiative, in place since February 2024, will officially end on March 31, 2025.

Public servants have been urged to recommit to their duties and enhance service delivery across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
