Senator Bomai donates ₦40 million to APC leaders in Fika

Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai has donated ₦40 million to support All Progressives Congress (APC) party leaders and councillors in Fika Local Government Area of Yobe state, as part of his continued efforts to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
According to a representative of the senator, Alhaji Yusuf Zaki, the distribution of financial support began Sunday, covering party leaders from all 10 wards of Fika.
“In this phase, each party leader and councillor from Fika-Anze, Ngalda-Dumbulwa, Gudi-Dozi, Zangaya-Duffuwel, and Turmi-Maluri wards will receive ₦100,000 in cash,” the representative stated.
He further explained that “the total amount disbursed per ward stands at N3.8 million,” adding that the initiative is part of Senator Bomai’s commitment to the well-being of party members.

A local party leader, who received the donation, described the gesture as timely. “This support means a lot to us, especially at the grassroots level. It shows the senator values our efforts in building the party,” he said.
Meanwhile, sources close to the senator confirmed that the remaining wards in Fika Local Government will receive similar support in the coming days.
