Senator Kalu’s Wife, Ada, Laid To Rest in US
Mrs Ifeoma Ada Menakaya Kalu, late wife of Nigerian Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has been buried in the United States of America (USA).
Late Ada was buried on Thursday.

In a Facebook post shared by the former Governor of Abia State, his late wife might have left but she still lives in their hearts.
He wrote, “Our late beloved former First Lady, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt- Late Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu (Nee Menakaya) was laid to rest today in the USA in accordance to her wish. She might have left this space called earth but she still lives in our hearts.”
Recall on Wednesday the family had an open casket viewing ceremony for late Ifeoma, at McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, North Carolina which was followed by the funeral service.
Late Ifeoma died on Monday, April 3, 2023 at the age of 61.
The former Abia state Governor who is currently a Senate is among top contenders from the southeast vying for the seat of the Senate President in the 10th National Assembly.
