Senator Natasha invites Akpabio to project commissioning in Kogi
Indications have emerged that the rift between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio has been resolved following her invitation to him and other lawmakers for a series of project commissioning events in Kogi State next week.
The invitation, personally signed by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, was read by Akpabio during Thursday’s plenary. She invited her colleagues to Ihima, Kogi State, on Sunday for the commissioning of constituency projects marking her second anniversary in office.
Visibly pleased, Akpabio congratulated her in advance, saying, “Congratulations in advance.”

The gesture is seen as a sign of reconciliation between the two senators, months after their dispute over seat reallocation led to Akpoti-Uduaghan’s six-month suspension in March. Since her return in September, she has actively engaged in Senate proceedings and worked cordially with the leadership.
