Seyi Tinubu breaks silence on King Mitchy, VeryDarkMan allegations, vows not to succumb to online bullying

Seyi Tinubu has publicly addressed the growing controversy surrounding allegations made by social media personalities King Mitchy and VeryDarkMan, declaring that he “will not be bullied” amid intense online scrutiny.

In a strongly worded statement shared via his verified social media accounts, Seyi Tinubu dismissed the claims circulating about him and described the backlash as an orchestrated attempt to tarnish his image. He stressed that while he respects freedom of expression, he would not allow what he termed “false narratives” and “public intimidation” to define him.

The controversy erupted after King Mitchy and VeryDarkMan made remarks and allegations during online broadcasts and posts that quickly gained traction across various digital platforms. Their comments sparked heated debates among Nigerians, with supporters and critics taking opposing sides.

Seyi, who is the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasised that he remains focused on his personal and professional commitments despite the uproar. He maintained that public figures are often subjected to intense scrutiny but insisted that there should be boundaries between accountability and harassment.

He also hinted at the possibility of taking further steps if necessary, though he did not specify whether legal action would be pursued.

As of the time of filing this report, neither King Mitchy nor VeryDarkMan had issued an immediate response to Seyi Tinubu’s latest statement. The situation continues to generate widespread reactions online, with many calling for clarity while others urge restraint to prevent further escalation.
