A Fulani man identified as Adamu Umar has been arrested in Giwape (Old Rugan Juli) Karu local government area of Nassarawa State for defiling at least 10 young boys.
His mode of operation is to lure the boys with sweets and other gifts. He was caught having sex with a boy.
The arrest was followed by complaints by several parents about what he did to their children, and sometimes in the mosque.
The culprit has now been detained in Lafiya, the Nassarawa state capital pending his arraignment on 28 of September 2020 at the Magistrate Court inside the Karu International market along Abuja-Keffi highway.
The Giwape community leader, Kaka Mallum, who spoke to newsmen said that the matter would be pursued to its logical conclusion and also called on parents to be vigilant and expose bad eggs living within their communities.
