Suspected IPOB/ESN members attack police station in Anambra

Suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the guise of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) have reportedly attacked a police station in Anambra State, on Friday.

According to POLITICS NIGERIA, the station attacked was Uli police station.

This criminal act is coming barely 24 hours after an unspecified number of policemen and other security operatives were reportedly killed in the heart of Enugu state on Thursday.

An official statement of the attack from the State Command is yet to be released after efforts to reach DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state were unsuccessful, according to the medium.

Details of the this latest attack on a police facility are still unclear, and it is not certain if there were causalities.

The level of destruction was also not determined as of the time of this report.
