At least ten persons were killed in an accident along Lokoja-Obajana road in Kogi State on Wednesday afternoon, January 6, IgbereTV reports. It was gathered that the accident involved a bus and a truck conveying cement from Obajana occurred at Old Akpata village. According to an eye witness account, the accident occurred as a result of dangerous overtaking by the driver of the bus that was heading to Kabba.
