22-year-old man gets 12 strokes of cane for stealing ceiling fans A Kaduna Magistrates’ Court on Thursday ordered that a 22-year-old applicant, Samson Kingsley, be given 12 strokes of the cane for stealing ceiling fans worth ₦160,000. Magistrate Ibrahim Emmanuel, who gave the order, warned Kingsley to desist from committing crimes. The convict, who resides in Kawo in Kaduna, pleaded guilty to trespassing and theft.
