Fire engulfs TCN Alagbon Substation, causes damage to power transformer A fire broke out at the Alagbon Transmission Substation of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), affecting one of its 60MVA power transformers. The incident occurred at approximately 16:32hrs today when the operator on duty heard a loud bang coming from the switchyard.
