Meet 24 women contesting to be governors in Saturday’s election

Nigerian women are stepping up to take part in the political activities of the nation, as twenty-four women are contesting in the governorship and state assembly elections. This is as the call for female representation in leadership heightened over the years. According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the governorship election will be conducted in 28 states of the federation.
