A senior lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Jos, Dr Dan Ella, who was abducted by gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday 9 June 2021, has regained freedom. Ella was seen on Thursday night along the Jos-Bauchi road after he was released by his abductors. It was reported that the gunmen had attacked his residence located near Haske quarters in Lamingo community, Jos North Local Government Area of the state.
