FBI Indictment: Suspended Kyari appears before four-man panel

The embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari has made his first appearance before a Special Investigation Panel (SIP), set up by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, to investigate accusations levelled against him by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Sources said the SIP which is sitting at the Force headquarters Conference room had DCP Kyari presenting his defence to the indictment by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the US to the SIP members until about 9 pm on Tuesday night.
