The Chief of Army Staff, General Farouk Yahaya, has approved the appointment of Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu as the Director of Army Public Relations. Nwachukwu takes over from General Mohammed Yerima, who assumed obligation as a spokesperson in February. Until his appointment, Gen. Nwachukwu was the Acting Director of Defense Information, at the Defense Headquarters.
