Northeast govs call for more developmental strides in the region, demand commissioning of Dadin Kowa and Kashimbila power plants

Story from Sa'adatu MAINA, Damaturu The Northeast Governors Forum has called on the National Assembly and the Federal Government to make adequate budgetary provisions in the 2022 appropriation bill for the implementation of the Mambilla Hydroelectric project. The governors also raised concerns over the non-commissioning of the Dadin Kowa and Kashimbila hydro-power plants which is stalling development in the sub-region. The forum made the call in a communique issued and signed by Governor Zulum, who is the Chairman of the Forum on Tuesday night at the end of its sixth meeting held...
