Two suspected kidnappers were reportedly shot dead by Vigilantes while collecting ransom in Sabongida town in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State. The kidnappers, who were later identified as Sani and Musa, reached out to the family of their victim, an elderly man, Alhaji Gambo, to bring the ransom money to a specified location. The vigilantes in the area, upon getting information, went to the location to lay an ambush.
