Police open fire as protesting students allegedly attack deputy governor’s convoy Students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Ogun State, reportedly attacked the convoy of the state’s Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, during a protest on Wednesday. The deputy governor was en route to the 35 Artillery Brigade Alabama, Abeokuta, to represent Governor Dapo Abiodun at the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day reception when the incident occurred.
