Three members of a notorious bandit-kidnapping syndicate have been arrested by the Katsina State Police Command and a ransom of N3.6 million recovered from them. Parading the suspects at the police headquarters yesterday, spokesperson of the command, SP Gambo Isah, said the suspects, Lawali Duna, 40-year-old, Muhammadu Lawali Babuga, 22-year-old, and Hussaini Abubakar, 30-year-old, were arrested by a police patrol team attached to Faskari Division, while on routine patrol along Funtua-Yankara road on 25 February.
