Yobe’s Profs Maimuna, Shettima schemed out of FUGA VC’s seat

The hope of producing the next substantive Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Gashua, from indigenous contenders within the institution has been dashed as the Governing Council of the University technically ruled them out from vying for the exalted seat. According to the Governing Council's, new criteria which were adopted on Wednesday through voting, any contender for the office of the Vice-Chancellor must be 7-years as Professor.
