As a result of the torrential rainfall which caused serious flood, many houses were destroyed in Maruta village of Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State. According to reports gathered by Desert Herald in Dutse, hundreds of families were rendered homeless and their properties worth billions of naira were also destroyed by water.
