Women Lawyers distribute blankets to 30 victims of gender-based violence in Yobe Story from Sa'adatu MAINA, Damaturu The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Yobe Chapter, on Thursday distributed 30 blankets to 30 victims of gender-based violence in Yobe. The distribution of the blankets was done with support from UNHCR. Speaking at the event in Damaturu, the state's FIDA Chairperson, Hajiya Altine Ibrahim, noted that the blankets would cushion the effect of the victims' suffering.
