Family seeks justice as landlord’s son rapes tenant’s 14-year-old daughter
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her landlord’s son in Alakuko, Lagos.
According to an anonymous X user who tweets under the handle #Rhwaley and shares videos of the victim, the incident happened yesterday.
According to Rhwaley, the landlord told the family “nothing will happen” in response to their concerns when they approached him about the incident.

The Lagos State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, encouraged the family to get in touch with the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team and gave the assurance that nobody is powerless in this situation.
Gawat responded to the post by writing, “Helpless ke. In this State, nobody is defenseless in this regard. Give #Lagosdsva a SHARP call.
