The fall of the iron illusion, by John Hussein

For decades, Israel sold the world a myth, an invincible fortress guarded by an “Iron Dome” and an army that could never be defeated. Western media echoed this fantasy, painting the Zionist regime as an untouchable military power, while its leaders boasted of regional dominance. But in this war, Iran, a nation that stands not for colonial greed but for justice and the oppressed shattered that illusion with a single, decisive strike.

When Iranian missiles and drones rained down on Israeli soil, the world watched in awe. The so-called “invincible defence system”, the Iron Dome, was exposed as a fragile shield, overwhelmed by the sheer power of Iran’s precision. Reports revealed that nearly all of Iran’s ballistic missiles hit their targets, striking deep inside Israeli military bases. The myth of Israeli technological superiority crumbled in real time.

For years, Israel had bombarded Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria with impunity, claiming its military was beyond challenge. But Iran, a nation rooted in spiritual resistance, humiliated the Zionist war machine without firing a single bullet from the ground. This was not just a military defeat it was a moral one.

Israel’s response is panic. Its leaders, who had spent years threatening Iran with annihilation, suddenly begged for Western intervention. The United States, Britain, and France scrambled to intercept drones not to protect Palestinians under Israeli bombs, but to save their crumbling ally. The hypocrisy was undeniable.

Where was this “Iron Dome” when Hamas broke through on October 7th? Where was this “invincible army” when Hezbollah forced Israeli settlers to flee northern occupied Palestine? The truth is clear: Israel’s strength was always a lie, propped up by Western funding and propaganda.

While Israel thrives on occupation, Iran stands as a beacon of resistance. It does not steal land or massacre children in Gaza. It does not besiege millions in open-air prisons. Instead, Iran supports the oppressed from Palestine to Yemen not with empty slogans, but with unwavering action.

The Iranian strike was more than a military operation; it was divine justice. A spiritual nation, guided by principles of dignity and resistance, had exposed the weakness of a regime built on oppression. The world saw Israel for what it truly is: a paper tiger, trembling before the might of those who fight for truth.

The age of Israeli impunity is over. The resistance axis Iran, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Hamas has proven that colonial powers can be dealt with and cleared from the region. The “Iron Dome” is rusted. The “invincible army” is a joke. And as the Palestinian flag rises higher in the ruins of Gaza.
