Life in Nigeria is becoming more expensive, making it harder for people to afford basic needs. The prices of food, fuel, and healthcare keep going up, while the value of money keeps going down.
Many Nigerians are struggling to buy what they need, forcing them to make tough choices between food, rent, and other essentials.
For families already living in poverty, the situation is even worse. Many children do not get enough food, which can affect their health and growth.
Healthcare is becoming too costly, so people avoid going to the hospital unless it is an emergency. The stress of not having enough money also affects people’s mental well-being, making life more difficult.
This problem is also increasing the gap between rich and poor. In cities, people struggle with high rent and transport costs, while in villages, farmers and traders find it hard to make a living because of rising prices. Many small businesses suffer because they can not keep up with the changing economy.
To solve this problem, the government needs to take strong action. They must work on stabilising the economy, making food and healthcare more affordable, and supporting those who need help the most.
Investing in agriculture, creating more jobs, and improving social welfare can help reduce the burden on citizens. Until real solutions are found, many Nigerians will continue to struggle just to survive.
