ThinkLab Group has donated N3 million to support victims of flood in Yobe State, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to partnering with the state government in times of need.

The donation was presented to Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) by Dr. Abba Damuna, Director of Projects at ThinkLab Group, on behalf of the Group Managing Director, Dr. Babagana Mohammed.

During the presentation, Dr. Damuna expressed the organisation’s concern for the flood victims and praised the swift response by Yobe State Government.

In a letter addressed to Dr. Mohammed Goje, Executive Secretary of SEMA, Dr. Mohammed stated, “We believe our modest contribution will complement the state government’s efforts in alleviating the suffering of the affected communities.”

He also expressed confidence in SEMA’s ability to judiciously utilise the donation to ensure it reaches those in dire need.

In response, Dr. Goje, on behalf of the Yobe State Government, expressed gratitude to ThinkLab Group for their generosity.

He emphasised that the donation would play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing relief efforts, underscoring that the funds would be distributed promptly and effectively to the most vulnerable households.
