Thugs raid PDP secretariat, steal documents, office furniture
The factional Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Makurdi, Benue State, was attacked by hoodlums on Tuesday morning.
According to Bede Bartholomew, media aide to Senator Gabriel Suswam, the assailants arrived in three vehicles, breached the gate, and forcibly entered the premises around 10: AM.
Bartholomew reported that the attackers ransacked offices, stealing various documents and loading them into their trucks.
They also removed furniture from the secretariat during the raid.
Authorities responded swiftly, and police intervened to restore order at the scene.

As of the latest updates, he said normalcy has been reestablished following the incident.
